Shalom to everyone, I just left Israel 2 days ago. Although the Northern Hospitals are busy with wounded civilian and military there is almost no elective activity at these hospitals and in a matter of fact the cities are quiet and partially empty including Haifa. There are a lot of plastic surgeons from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem (or anywhere North of Haifa) that are not involved with the treatment of the wounded civilian and military and are available in case they will be needed. (Even in Haifa most of the wounded are at the Rambam hospital while Benai Zion (Rothschild ) Hospital or Carmel Hospital are minimally or not involved) I think that the best thing we can do is to support Israel by donation to either the Hospitals directly to the Towns that were affected or to some organizations such as the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) that support the combat soldier. A $5000 or $10,000 donation to the emergency campaign will do more than hanging around at the hospitals. Alternatively we can go and be a tourist in Israel spend a lot of money and support the Israeli economy which is without any doubt was affected by the recent events. Be generous and support Israel Michael Kalisman
